25. - 30. September 2014
Chemistry Building of Graz University of Technology, Austria & Synchrotron facility Elettra, Trieste, Italy

Summer course on SAXS and light scattering techniques at the labs of the Graz University of Technology in Graz and the synchrotron radiation source ELETTRA in Trieste with lectures as well as hands-on practical training on relevant characterization techniques in materials science.

After successful completion of the course, the students are familiar with the general principles and methods of working on X-ray scattering and light scattering in the field of material science. They are able to use the acquired knowledge to solve limited scientific research problems within their PhD thesis and to document the results properly.
Language will be English.
